Tanaw at Tanglaw: Empire East Celebrates its 30-Year Legacy

Empire East held its anniversary party at The Blue Leaf Events Pavilion at McKinley Hill Village, Taguig City. The event's theme is "Tanaw at Tanglaw," where company employees gathered to reflect on the decades-long journey to share unique stories and honor everyone as the heart of Empire East. 

"Tanaw at Tanglaw does not only celebrate our anniversary but, more importantly, the rich history that positively impacted the Filipino community. We envisioned the theme of this event to be a walk down memory lane, with a guiding beacon lighting the path toward company goals,” says Empire East President and CEO Atty. Anthony Charlemagne C. Yu.

The event also called for employees to wear their Filipiniana at Barong with a modern twist as a tribute to the rich Filipino history of hard work, passion, and determination. Tanaw at Tanglaw was attended by Alliance Global CEO and Empire East Director, Mr. Kevin L. Tan, and Megaworld Corporation President Lourdes Gutierrez-Alfonso. Yu and Tan gave inspiring speeches focused on the company's growth throughout the decades.

The evening was electrified with vibrant musical performances, highlighted by a particular set from The Company, the renowned Filipino vocal group with a deep-rooted connection to Empire East, as 30 years ago, they were the ones playing onstage during one of the company's first gatherings, where young Yu was first introduced as president As the night unfolded, guests let go of their worries, immersing themselves in a celebration that allowed them to dance, sing, and revel to their hearts' content.

Moreover, the company reaffirmed its dedication and resolve as it continues to be a leader in the middle-income real estate sector by creating developments and initiatives centered on helping society. Empire East revealed its 30 CSR pledges centered around partnering with various NGOs to help address societal and environmental problems. This serves as the company's commitment to a greener future.

To further liven up the celebratory atmosphere, a raffle was held in true Filipino fashion. Thirty winners were chosen to receive fabulous gifts, including the grand prize, P30,000. This segment wasn't just about fun and games; it was Empire East's heartfelt way of honoring its dedicated employees, whose hard work is a cornerstone of its success. This generous gesture is just one of many the company has offered to express its deep appreciation over the years.

Employees who attended the event experienced an emotional whirlwind, dancing through a spectrum of feelings. They danced with every beat, immersing themselves in the performances and letting their exuberance shine as they partied with unrestrained joy. Moreover, they felt special, learning that their hard work and dedication will consistently be recognized and treasured.

"Seeing how the company treats its people and helps them when they're in need, honestly nakakapanibago siya.
