TAGUIG CITY, July 15 - Premier real estate developer Empire East Land Holdings, Inc. held its first-ever virtual stockholders' meeting in response to government prohibitions to mass gatherings, and in time for its 26th anniversary.
Led by Empire East President and CEO, Atty. Anthony Charlemagne C. Yu, the conference highlighted the company's overall performance, accomplishments, and achievements in the past year.
In 2019, the company delivered PHP4 Billion in booked sales, 15% higher than in 2018. Currently, Empire East continues to fare well in the midst of the new normal, delivering an outstanding reservation sales of up to PHP2.4 billion since the start of the imposed quarantine.
"I would like to commend my fellow workers, in-house sales partners, and accredited brokers who embraced the new normal, and through online selling alone, with all our showrooms shut down during the first two months of quarantine, have astoundingly delivered sales above our expectations," shared Atty. Yu.
Empire East also completed the construction of seven condominium towers across its Metro Manila projects. This year, Empire East prioritizes the development of world-class homes that also adhere to the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
The meeting also lauded the efforts of Empire East communities that have forged stronger bonds during the pandemic. Homeowners and property management staff have come together to supply each other's needs through donation drives, mobile markets, and more - highlighting a Bayanihan Spirit.
Known for its 37 corporate social responsibility initiatives in the previous year, Empire East won the Bronze Stevie Award for Innovation in Communication and Public Service and the Award for Excellence in Innovation in Consumer Product and Service Industries categories.
The company continues its streak of sustainable community plans by unveiling Empire East Highland City.
