Property developer Empire East led a back-to-school program for its beneficiary New Little Baguio Elementary School in Santa Maria, Laguna, as an extension of its commitment to gear up the youth not just for the coming school year but, more importantly, for life.

Fresh uniforms, durable shoes, and bags with a complete set of school supplies like papers, notebooks, and crayons are some of the things students look forward to in the new school year, and through Empire East’s newest outreach titled "PREP: Prepare for School. Prepare for the Future" the company was able to provide all these, and more.

A full day of fun and excitement was also prepared that encouraged the kids to participate in team activities that allowed them to make puppets, which also became characters for a skit that delivered positive messages on the attitudes and passion for learning. The school staff and pupils expressed gratitude for having fresh inspiration in time for the events ahead.

"Empire East believes in the power of the youth and aims to help them win big and reach high dreams in the future," says Empire East President and CEO Atty. Anthony Charlemagne C. Yu.

As imminent leaders of the country, the company is happy to prep school kids even in small ways if it means sparking their interest in making more significant solutions to the country's stark issues.

The New Little Baguio Elementary School in Santa Maria, Laguna, also received its first library last year under the same pocket CSR initiative thru the "Empire East Cares" program.
