June 9, 2021 (Manila, Philippines) -- Top real estate developer Empire East Land Holdings, Inc. delivered a total of 2,200 units worth more than nine billion pesos in the year 2020.
“Despite the lockdowns imposed to curb the spread of the virus, we had to make sure that we turn over units scheduled for the year by following safety protocols among our homeowners and our employees on site. It’s part of our commitment to our homebuyers who trusted us with their dream home,” said Empire East President and CEO Atty. Anthony Charlemagne C. Yu.
“When 2020 began, we had already committed to our clients to deliver them their homes. Now more than ever, families need a safe and comfortable home during these erratic times,” he added.
In the company’s recent performance report, Empire East recorded a total of Php 4.26B booked sales, an 8.38% increase from the previous year. The company also logged a Php 524.9M net profit in the same year.
With the increasing demand for real estate properties as an investment and homes for end-users, Empire East continues to build and deliver quality yet affordable homes for the middle-market segment in 2021 and the years ahead.
Empire East celebrates its 27th anniversary in the industry this 2021.
“For 27 years, Empire East has been committed to building homes where priceless moments are created. Aside from the luxury of owning a property, we emphasize that home is more than just an establishment; it’s a feeling of belongingness in a community with the people you love. And that’s what we aspire to do with our developments-- we incorporate family-friendly and sustainable features which even future generations can enjoy,” said Yu.
About Empire East
Empire East Land Holdings, Inc., a real estate developer founded in 1994, is focused on building mid-to-high-rise developments for the middle-income demographic. The company was the first to democratize homeownership by offering quality yet affordable homes and implementing the Zero Downpayment scheme in the 1997 Asian Financial Crisis.
Empire East has completed more than 17,000 units over the years and has built more than 100 towers in and beyond Metro Manila.
In 2019, Empire East launched Empire East Highland City, a 24-hectare integrated township development in Pasig-Cainta, its newest and largest project to date. The first tower of its first phase, Arcadia, has been completely sold out months after it was launched; thus, Empire East launched the second tower succeedingly. This project’s sales contributed to its impressive overall performance in 2020 despite the implications of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Besides this township, Empire East also actively promotes The Paddington Place in Mandaluyong City, a four-tower urban enclave with a bi-level lifestyle mall, and Mango Tree Residences, a two-tower community in San Juan City.
