Whether that's the latest Adele album, Mike Flanagan's Midnight Mass horror series on Netflix, social media trends, or Kimetsu no Yaiba's much-awaited season 2, best believe that pop culture enthusiasts are already on it.

In their recent meeting, employees from Empire East who share their love for film and pop culture decided on naming their group "CineGang'. Although the name speaks primarily for the film part of the group, it's a place welcome to all lovers of the arts.

The group also didn't shy away from introducing themselves and sharing their favorite type of media to consume and their preferred genre in films/shows. For example, members like Neil Vincent Bernal from the Property Development Division prefer Sci-Fi films. At the same time, those like Edcel Dionisio from the Marketing Department are more fond of Animated films from Studio Ghibli.

Shortly after, the group elected Aireen Torres from the Credit and Collection Department as the Space Moderator, while Janelle Lachica from the Finance Department was assigned as the group's Deputy Moderator. The two leaders have yet to share their plans for future activities; however, already started engaging with the group members through their chosen digital space on Messenger.

CineGang is one of the many clubs under Social Spaces - an Empire East employee engagement program that aims to establish meaningful connections through shared interests and hobbies.

"We want our employees to continue seeking support groups for their interests to help them manage their social life and take care of their mental health amid the changing times," says Empire East President and CEO, Atty. Anthony Charlemagne C. Yu.
