METRO MANILA, October 7 - Extreme, exciting, and explosive are three adjectives that explain the choice of 'FIT X' as the name of Empire East's new fitness group—attended by about 40 employees from different departments who also expressed their plans for upcoming activities.

The team wanted to focus on fitness, sports, and proper nutrition categories. "It's going to be a full, mind-and-body experience here at FIT X that will offer a lot of fun activities for our members in the next few days," says elected Space Moderator Bheng Traquena from the Marketing Department.

Meanwhile, Deputy Space Moderator Ria San Juan from the Property Turnover Group has noted the members' suggestions, including Yoga sessions, proper diet support, and extreme and exciting sports that will engage everyone from home or on-location gatherings when opportunity permits.

"This group will not just cater to the interests of some but of everyone. So as much as possible, whatever we will do will be chosen by all of its members so we can all have equal enjoyment," she says.

As of writing, this micro-community has already created its Facebook Group 'FIT X' under the tagline Xtreme. Xciting. Xplosive, where the official announcements and communications will take place.

FIT X is part of Empire East's newly launched Social Spaces, an engagement program that encourages employees from various departments to join a micro-community according to their hobbies and talents. This project aims to strengthen and build meaningful connections among its employees where like-minded individuals with shared interests can gather and socialize at their leisure.

"Under Empire East's five pillars of CSR, we intend to make 'Social Spaces' as our portal to conceptualizing and conducting more voluntary outreach activities to communities even outside the office," says Empire East President and CEO Atty. Anthony Charlemagne C. Yu.
