METRO MANILA - Empire East's first-ever foodie group hereon called 'All About Food' has just been inaugurated and kicks-off with a sweet start. During its first-ever online meeting that connected more than 40 employees, the team discussed some ideas on managing their interests in creating and sharing delicious food.
And as if the mere thought of food is not enough, the elected Space Moderator Ms. Desiree Caraos from the Document Management Group (DMG), has given the members a taste of what is to come by raffling off a set of yummy cupcakes to one lucky attendee. Indeed, this gesture has truly made joining the team sound even more appetizing.
"This group's objective is to share our passion for cooking and eating specially crafted food to other people in and outside of our office," Desiree says.
Likewise, chosen Deputy Space Moderator Buboy Abunas from the Credit & Collection Department expressed full support in all the team's activities and looks forward to exchanging fun ideas through their Digital Space, Viber. "I'm happy to help out in the exchange of ideas for our team - from sharing recipes to connecting with the community of food lovers," he says.
Social Spaces is an engagement program that encourages employees from various departments to join a micro-community with fellow individuals having similar hobbies or interests.
"Our Social Spaces program aims to be an avenue to support a safe and fun online environment to promote the overall mental health and wellbeing of employees, especially during the pandemic," says Empire East President and CEO Atty. Anthony Charlemagne C. Yu.
