October 2021, QUEZON CITY, PHILIPPINES — Leading real estate developer and homebuilder Empire East Land Holdings, Inc. partners with TouchPay to deploy Automatic Payment Machines (APM) at different Empire East communities, providing safer and convenient payment options for its homebuyers.
“Since the pandemic started, we launched our transmutation program and part of it is to look for alternative and contactless means to transact for the safety of our homebuyers and partners,” said Empire East President and CEO Atty. Anthony Charlemagne C. Yu.
“The safety of our homebuyers and our workforce has always been our top priority," Atty. Yu added.
The Property Management Group of Empire East communities aims to offer its homeowners a simpler and more convenient means of payment, eliminating the need to go to payment offices and risk exposure to harmful elements.
In total, six (6) TouchPay units are distributed among Empire East properties including San Lorenzo Place in Makati City, Pioneer Woodlands in Mandaluyong, Kasara Urban Resort Residences and The Rochester in Pasig, Little Baguio Terraces in San Juan, and one at The Sonoma in Sta. Rosa, Laguna.
“This is part of our efforts to serve our homebuyers during the pandemic. Our property management offices are instructed to maintain and sanitize these portals at all times,” the developer’s chief executive explained.
Empire East had launched its Contactless Connections campaign when the government announced its lockdown, promoting social distancing and proper sanitation that would ensure the safety and health of its homeowners and workforce. This campaign included creating social distancing markers and the strict implementation of safety protocols at each Empire East development.
TouchPay is a trademark brand of Manila Express Payment System, Inc. (MEPS) that uses the latest technology in security, operational, and remote management systems of its APMs. There are over 1,500 units nationwide, allowing the integration of transactions from payers to billers.
